Very similar in design to the CQC6, with a slightly larger blade, and a more useful handle. The handle has both a palm swell and a parrot beak downturn on the butt, to allow for better control in difficult situations or when wet. The 6 had an offensive skull crusher butt that lost some control as a result. The 7 was also chosen by Benchmade as a production knife that became one of (if not THE) best selling knives in their history.
